The Power of Play

Free play provides a vital platform for a child’s overall development. Among other things, it stimulates creativity, builds initiative, teaches organization and encourages negotiation skills. Plus, it’s just plain fun. I think adults sometimes underestimate the importance of allowing kids time to be outside, to get dirty and to have unstructured time to explore.
